Rob Lowe, 59, reveals his secrets to looking so young after working nearly five decades as a Hollywood star
The actor, now 59, attributes his youthful looks, in part, on getting proper amount of sleep for his mind and body, according to USA Today 's new series The Essentials.
Along with restful sleep, Lowe is also very aware of his carbohydrate and sugar intake, which is why he's been an avid follower and spokesperson for the Adkins diet, which has helped him stay lean and fit as he approaches 60. Lowe was among a cast of rising young stars, dubbed the Brat Pack, on The Outsiders, directed by Francis Ford Coppola; pictured in 1982 Lowe made his feature film debut in The Outsiders (1983), which also starred such young actors dubbed the Brat Pack such as C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Macchio, Matt Dillon, Patrick Swayze, Emilio Estevez, Tom Cruise, Diane Lane, Leif Garrett.
