Rob Lowe Open To ‘9-1-1’ Return As Brother Chad Lowe EPs ‘Nashville’ Spinoff: “Just Waiting For My Phone To Ring”
Although '9-1-1: Lone Star' has answered its last call, Rob Lowe is ready to get back in the field as Captain Owen Strand.
The 6x Golden Globe nominee recently addressed his potential return to the character on the upcoming Nashville spin-off, for which his brother Chad Lowe serves as an executive producer and director. Chad also appeared on the spin-off as Owen’s estranged, dying brother Robert Strand in Seasons 3-5, in addition to directing several episodes of both Lone Star and the parent series, which premiered in 2018. Premiering this fall, the cast of 9-1-1: Nashville includes Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Hailey Kilgore, Juani Feliz, Michael Provost and Hunter McVey.
