Rob Brydon refuses to rule out a Gavin and Stacey Christmas special return amid rumours of a bidding war between the BBC and Netflix


The actor, 58, who plays Uncle Bryn, spoke on Radio Four's Today programme and laughed through his question surrounding the popular show.

Following reports at the iconic drama is set to return for the first time in five years this Christmas, sources have claimed streaming giant Netflix is battling to steal it from the BBC, which has aired it since 2007. The actress, who played Nessa in the beloved show, revealed that she thinks the rumours were sparked after she was photographed having lunch with Corden a few months back after he returned to the UK from living in America. However, he has not stopped interviewing celebrities as his new venture, called This Life of Mine with James Corden, has already scored top guests such as Martin Scorsese, Kim Kardashian and David Beckham.
