Rob Brydon 'moved to tears' by 'emotional' Gavin and Stacey script ahead of Christmas special
Gavin and Stacey star Rob Brydon, who plays Uncle Bryn, has admitted he was in tears after reading the final script for the hit comedy series as it prepares to return this Christmas.
In a candid chat on Virgin Radio with Chris Evans, Rob spilled the beans on how tough it's been to keep quiet about the comeback, confessing that the final script packed a real emotional punch. He admitted that reading the upcoming episode's script was emotional - and hard to keep a secret (Image: BBC/GS TV Productions Ltd/Tom Jackson)James, who became pals with co-star and co-creator Ruth during their time on ITV's Fat Friends, has seen the show become a cultural touchstone. And back in May, the duo announced that the show would be returning this Christmas as James shared a snap to social media of himself and Ruth holding up a script for the new series.
