Despite being replaced as a panellist on ITV ’s The Masked Singer show by Maya Jama, and her pop career seeming to be a bit quiet, Rita is still hitting the big notes when it comes to making money. The Mail's Richard Eden revealed this week that she earned £5million last year, on the back of music sales, television and acting work and profit on a property investment. The pop star stepped down from the judging panel of the ITV game show last year and was replaced by Love Island host Maya Jama.
