Rita Ora and Robbie Williams lead artists stars signing up for star-studded concert in bid to raise millions for fight against climate change


A new benefit concert called Climate Aid, which hopes to rival Live Aid and raise millions to combat climate change.

The event which is set to be a global spectacle, will be produced by ITV's Creative Director Lee Connolly who put together the channel’s coverage of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. A source told The Mirror: 'Two concerts, in London and LA, are scheduled to take place in January next year and will unite the world to raise vital funds for climate change. Nearly two billion people – a third of humanity – tuned in to Live Aid, the global jukebox that raised millions for the starving of Africa, with 72,000 lucky enough to be at Wembley to see history in the making.
