Rise Against Break Out the Bullhorn in New Live Video for ‘Nod’
Chicago punks Rise Against have dropped a new music video for "Nod," featuring footage from some of their recent concerts.
Released in January, just a few days after President Donald Trump’s inauguration, “Nod” isn’t overtly political, but contains a particularly potent rallying cry for this moment: “I swear to god this can’t wait/One more minute, one more day/I feel the ground shaking underneath me,” Tim McIlrath sings on the chorus, “There’s a lot here at stake/If you’re hearing what I’m saying/Just nod if you understand me.” After dropping the song, Rise Against added “Nod” to the live sets on their recent tour of Europe, the U.K., and South America. The first leg of the North American trek kicks off March 20 at the Toyota Center in Houston and wraps April 13 at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota; the second leg starts Sept. 10 in at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, Connecticut and ends Oct. 5 at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida.
