Rihanna Teases ‘Smurfs’ Trailer: ‘In My Blue Era’

Rihanna shared a clip teasing a trailer for Paramount Pictures’ 'Smurfs,' where she voices the role of Smurfette.

In the new clip, birds chirp and the camera zooms through what can only be described as a CGI take on a claymation Smurf Village, home of the blue little people created by Belgian animator Pierre Culliford (a.k.a. A dramatic rendition of The Smurfs’ theme song from the 1980s Hanna-Barbera cartoon rings out as the camera closes in on small teal TV, on which an image of Smurfette blowing a kiss appears with the words “Trailer tomorrow” over her in (also blue) capital letters.
