Rihanna Spotted at Recording Studio — and Fans React with Theories Because She Hasn’t Released a New Album Since 2016

Rihanna was photographed walking into a recording studio in New York City on Jan. 18. Some fans speculated that her ninth studio album may be on the horizon, while skeptical fans theorized her studio time could be for something else.

In a June 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rihanna assured fans that her ninth studio album would be coming but that she wants to approach it with a fresh perspective based on where she is in life now.
