In an expansive new interview with Harper’s Bazaar published on Saturday, Feb. 22, the nine-time Grammy winner, 37, got candid about her long-awaited and highly anticipated ninth studio album — which she says will be worth the wait. The musician — who shares two sons, RZA, 2, and Riot, 18 months, with partner A$AP Rocky — also said that working on the album “is becoming my new freedom, because when I’m in the studio, I know that my time away from my kids is to blossom something that hasn’t been watered in eight years.” Elsewhere in her new interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Rihanna reflected on her past music — and revealed that her last album is the only one she can listen to “top to bottom with no shame.”
