Rihanna Is Radiant In Bejeweled, Winged Carnival Costume at Barbados’ Crop Over Festival

Rihanna was radiant in a towering, bejeweled and feathered carnival costume while walking in the Crop Over Festival in her native Barbados.

The singer strutted in the parade on Monday in a towering bedazzled costume that featured brown and gold jewels snaking up from her ankles to her shoulders, with thin strips of material covering her essentials, accented by a matching crown. Bleu quickly designed a pair of bedazzled tights, one in nude, the other in black, adding another notch to the belt of her high-profile client list, which had already included Beyoncé, Shania Twain and Lady Gaga. In 2015, Billboard reported that Rihanna’s annual attendance at the 300-year-old seasonal music festival had spurred international interest in the event, as well as helping to raise the profile of other artist’s from the singer’s home country.
