'Surviving Black Hawk Down,' a documentary from Ridley Scott’s production company RSA, will premiere on Netflix in February.

Ridley Scott ’s production company RSA is set to revisit the Battle of Mogadishu in a new Netflix documentary, “Surviving Black Hawk Down.” The documentary, directed by Jack MacInnes (“Leaving Afghanistan”), will explore the real events of the 1993 battle between U.S. and Somalian forces, which inspired Scott’s 2001 film. The three-part documentary will explore the real events behind the film, incorporating immersive storytelling and first person interviews from the people who witnessed it first-hand.
