Ridley Scott Set Aside Bee Gees Biopic Over Paramount Deal Issues: ‘They Didn’t Like My Deal. I’m Expensive, but I’m F—ing Good’

Ridley Scott's next film will not be a Bee Gees biopic due to deal issues with Paramount, he said in an interview with GQ magazine.

Ridley Scott revealed in a new interview with GQ magazine that his planned Bee Gees biopic at Paramount Pictures was set aside following some deal issues with the studio. Scott added that he expects to find common ground with Paramount on the deal and for the project to move forward sometime around September. The “Priscilla” and “Euphoria” actor is set to play a pilot named Hig who befriends a cranky gunman as they try to outlast a roaming band of scavengers called Reapers.
