Rideback Rise Sets Former Warner Bros Exec Diana Mogollón As CEO & Expands Fellowship Support For Year 2
Rideback Rise, the nonprofit POC content accelerator launched by Dan Lin, has set its first CEO: Diana Mogollón, founder & former head of Warner Bros.’ Stage 13
Under Mogollón’s leadership, the upcoming 2024 and 2025 cohort of Rise fellows is being reconfigured and expanded from five to up to 15, who will each receive $40K stipends in addition to accessing development funds to secure IP, create visual materials and shoot proof-of-concepts. Said Lin: “Diana is an inspiring leader with an impressive track record of bringing underrepresented voices to the forefront, as evidenced by her vision and tenacity in building the Stage 13 studio to champion POC storytellers. Mogollón most recently served as the SVP and General Manager of Stage 13, a six-time Emmy-nominated original content studio and production company incubated and launched in 2016 as part of Warner Bros. Entertainment/Warner Bros. Television Group.
