The former light-welterweight boxer made an early exit from the ITV show after his shaky skills fell considerably short during Sunday evening's skate-off.
Judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo chose to save Lou after she danced her second performance of the night. The routine saw him kitted out as a boxer as he dusted off some of his old moves and did press-ups to the iconic Rocky training soundtrack, Gonna Fly Now by Bill Conti. He told MailOnline: 'Ricky is one strong man, I asked him to punch me as a gag forgetting for a moment that he is a three time boxing world champion and yes it hurt... a lot!
