Ricky Gervais will not be hosting the 2025 Golden Globes, but he did recently post on X some of the jokes he would’ve made had he been emceeing the awards ceremony. Gervais is perhaps the Globes’ most iconic and controversial host, having presided over the annual ceremony five times. This year’s Golden Globes is being hosted by Nikki Glaser, who was a breakout comedy star of 2024 thanks to the viral jokes she made at Netflix’s roast of Tom Brady.
