Ricki Lake says process of building new home after her Malibu mansion burned down in LA Fire is 'exhausting'


Lake posted a series of photos in an adjacent photo carousel documenting her times at the home, showcasing the immaculate landscape amid different times of day.

Ricki Lake took to Instagram on Thursday, apparently vowing to rebuild her home in Malibu after it was burned down in the recent Los Angeles fires. Lake said that 11:24 a.m. January 7, she saw 'early signs of smoke in Temescal Canyon,' leading her and Burningham to set up a fire defense system they had on hand which included sprinklers. Lake was one of a number of celebrities whose homes were destroyed by the blazes, aa list that included names such as Anthony Hopkins, Tina Knowles, Candy Spelling, Paris Hilton, Spencer Pratt and John Goodman.
