Richard Madeley reveals he and Judy Finnigan sleep in separate rooms for touching reason
TV presenter has revealed the reason he and wife Judy Finnigan sleep in separate beds when he's presenting Good Morning Britain as he doesn't want to interrupt her sleep
The beloved TV duo, who rose to fame in the 1980s hosting ITV's This Morning, have since taken different paths, with Judy stepping back from the limelight after her departure from Loose Women nearly 10 years ago, a move Richard says she's thoroughly enjoying. While Judy enjoys her well-deserved break, Richard has been busy co-hosting Good Morning Britain with Susanna Reid, which requires him to rise before dawn. To ensure Judy isn't disturbed by his early starts, Richard chooses to sleep in the spare room, a decision he discussed on the White Wine Question Time podcast hosted by Kate Thornton.
