Richard Madeley pulls out of Good Morning Britain - with familiar face forced to step in to host alongside Kate Garraway
Richard Madeley was missing from his usual spot on the Good Morning Britain panel on Tuesday morning, with Sean Fletcher standing in his place.
As the daytime programme kicked off, Kate Garraway, 57, addressed her co-host's absence with Sean, 50, admitting he didn't realise he was fronting the ITV show. During Monday's instalment of the daytime programme, Jennie, 40, appeared as a guest on the show to discuss her role as Fizz Dobbs on the cobbles for the past 23 years. Richard's absence from the show comes after he suffered an awkward blunder while interviewing Jennie McAlpine as he accidentally aged her by four years and Kate Garraway was forced to step in
