Richard Madeley has recalled how he had to 'keep his mouth shut' during the most difficult time of his daughter Chloe's life, detailing how he was 'vigilant' with the fitness influencer.
Reflecting on the tribulations of parenting, Richard, who also shares a son named Jack with Judy, told The Times:"I found Chloe's early twenties the most difficult time, when she was moving from one relationship to the next," and disclosed, "Some [relationships] were clearly not going to work - one of the great gifts of good parenting is knowing when to keep your mouth shut, but I was vigilant." Chloe split from partner of 11 years James Haskell in 2023 (Image: (Image: Ken McKay/ITV/REX/Shutterstock))In the emotional interview Chloe gave more details on the high profile break up, revealing: “When we released the statement, we kind of started to have the conversation in August last year… I think people think it's a specific date, as the days, weeks, months pass it becomes more firmed up.” Announcing the split last year, Chloe and James released a joint statement, they said it had been a mutual decision and they would continue to co-parent with “nothing but love”.
