Richard Linklater and Ethan Hawke Tease New Movie Together Set in the 19th Century: ‘I Want to Get It Financed’
Before premiering 'Blue Moon' at Berlin Film Festival, Richard Linklater and Ethan Hawke revealed they have a 10th film together in the works.
The actor added that he’s “not trying to be coy, I just don’t want to blow it and talk about it publicly and then people say, ‘That sounds like a bad idea,’ and then it never gets financed.” The dynamic duo spoke about taking risks in art earlier in the day at “Blue Moon’s” Berlin press conference, with Hawke sounding off about money being put above original ideas. Alongside Hawke as Hart, “Blue Moon” also stars Andrew Scott as Rodgers, Margaret Qualley as Elizabeth Weiland and Bobby Cannavale as a bartender named Eddie.
