Richard Hammond reveals 'I thought I was going to die' ahead of 'terrifying' The Grand Tour finale
Star of The Grand Tour, Richard Hammond, has revealed he had a near-death experience during the finale episode - 18 years after the Top Gear crash that almost took his life
The star, who had a horrifying crash in 2006 while filming BBC’s Top Gear, revealed he once again feared for his life in the driving series. Talking about one particular scene in the finale where he attempts to cross the dangerous terrain in his car, Richard confessed, “I thought I was going to die.” While James added that he would miss working with Jeremy and Richard, as the show had taken up a “third” of his life and explained that they decided to “end on a high”.
