After shouting out 'The Rock' in his Golden Globes speech on Sunday, Richard Gadd jokingly challenged the wrestler at WWE's Netflix debut.
Baby Reindeer creator and star Richard Gadd, “a wrestling fan my entire life” who mentioned The Rock in his Golden Globes speech on Sunday, told Deadline he was “so psyched” to be at WWE’s Netflix debut, joking about getting The Rock in the ring himself. As his breakout Netflix series won the Golden Globe for Outstanding Limited Series or Anthology on Sunday, Gadd started his speech by giving The Rock an impromptu shoutout. While walking the red carpet for the 82nd Golden Globes, Gadd also confessed he’d “love to work with The Rock” while joking again taking him on in the ring.
