Richard E. Grant digs his purple Spice World suit out of the attic to celebrate his daughter's 36th birthday - 28 years after he first wore it in iconic movie
The actor, 67, went for a bold outfit choice to attend his daughter's prom-themed bash, digging out his old purple suit which he wore when starring in the Spice Girls film, Spice World in 1997.
In the Instagram post, the Saltburn star pulled a series of silly poses while dressed in a pair of purple trousers with a matching shirt which he rolled up at the sleeves and a large tie. And the costume also had an emotional meaning for the star who revealed that he had landed the part in the musical movie when his daughter was only eight and he would never be able to forget how excited she was to meet the girl group. Richard captioned the sweets snaps: 'Our beloved daughter @oliviagranted chose a Prom theme for her 36th birthday last night & insisted I wear my Clifford purple suit from SPICEWORLD THE MOVIE which has been zipped up in the loft for 28 years!
