Richard E Grant, 67, admits he isn't looking for love following the death of his wife Joan Washington as he quips 'taking my kit off would be mortifying'


The actor, 67, was married to the vocal coach for 38 years, before she tragically passed away in 2021 following a battle with cancer.

'They say you should never meet your idols... and after I had this conversation with her and came back to London, and Joan said - even though she was then 79 years old – 'If she wasn't married to James Brolin, would you still jump her bones? Speaking to The Sunday Times Culture Magazine, the actor admitted that he 'hasn't really thought about' finding a new partner since Joan's death 'So, I write a letter to Joan every night about what's going on, and I find that it feels like I have a physical, tangible, ongoing conversation with her that's written down, I've found that really, really helpful.
