Comedian Rhod Gilbert has been hit with more devastating news after his battle with cancer, as he attended two funerals in one week following the deaths of a friend's father and a close pal
In an exclusive chat with Reach PLC, Rhod recounted: "This week I've been to a funeral for my friend's dad, who died of cancer. The star previously admitted that he used humour as a coping mechanism during his cancer journey, confessing that the disease is "a lot less scary if your oncologist is laughing with you." Rhod received treatment at Cardiff's Velindre Cancer Centre, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and two surgeries, the second of which removed gallstones and led him to postpone seven tour dates in January, reports the Mirror.
