Rey has spoken about his pride that Dominik has followed him into WWE, telling local news outlet WESH 2 in 2023: “It was very hard for him to walk in my footsteps or be in my shadow because of what I’ve created for the past 34 years, so it’s beautiful, man. He made a number of appearances as a child, first as an audience member in 2003 to watch his father win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, and he had his first storyline in 2005, when his dad and Eddie Guerrero fought for custody of him. However, Rey also said that she would have to continue with her studies, and that she “wants to be a part of the medical field.” Per her LinkedIn, Aalyah attended Grossmont College from 2019 to 2023, and her mom posted on Instagram in April 2023 that she’d been accepted into the University of California San Diego School of Medicine.
