Reuters Team Member Missing, Two In Hospital, After Strike On Hotel In Ukraine
The Hotel Sapphire took a suspected hit in Kramatorsk on Saturday evening.
The Reuters agency team covering the war in Ukraine has suffered a strike on their hotel in the eastern city of Kramatorsk. The news agency has released a statement saying one of the team is missing and two others in hospital following the “apparent missile strike” on the Hotel Sapphire 10.35pm local time Saturday evening. Reuters website quotes Vadym Filashkin, governor of Donetsk region, in a post on Telegram Sunday morning that “the Russians hit Kramatorsk,” and that two journalists were injured, while one was missing after a strike on a hotel.
