Republic Pictures Acquires Alex Winter’s Dark Comedy ‘Adulthood’ for U.S. and Canada
Republic Pictures has nabbed U.S. and Canadian rights to Alex Winter's dark comedy 'Adulthood,' starring Josh Gad and Kaya Scodelario.
When they discover a dead body, long buried in their parents’ basement, the siblings are pulled back to the hometown they ran away from and into a rabbit hole of crime and murder. Winter likewise serves as producer along with Scott Kroopf (“Limitless”), Russell Hollander (“Flight Risk”) and Lisa Wolofsky (“Tow”). Serving as executive producers are Connie Tavel (“Confess, Fletch”); Mimi Rode for Olive Hill Media; and Thorsten Schumacher of Rocket Science, which is arranging finance for international sales.
