Remy Bond Signs to Warner Records, Shares Striking New Single ‘Simple Girl’

Remy Bond has signed with Warner Records and released a new single, "Simple Girl."

Remy Bond, the pop singer-songwriter who made a splash last year with her viral hit “Summer Song,” has signed to Warner Records, and released a dreamy, altogether breathtaking new single, “Simple Girl,” on Friday (Feb. 7). The 20-year-old New York City native’s latest single contains a cinematic quality thanks to its use of strings and far-reaching harmonies, and its nostalgia-heavy music video (directed by her sister, Olivia Bond) certainly leans into the fantasia that the song creates. “I’m a simple girl, I like gardening and drugs / I don’t really care about breaking his heart,” she sings, her declarations made plain before her voice shoots upward later on the track.
