Remi Wolf Announces Sophomore Album ‘Big Ideas,’ Drops New Single ‘Cinderella’
Remi Wolf has announced her sophomore album 'Big Ideas,' and with it her first single off the project 'Cinderella.'
“‘Cinderella’ is a lyrical collage of the ups and downs and mood swings and transient lifestyle I was experiencing while writing this album,” she said in a statement. Wolf recorded the song at New York City’s famed Electric Lady Studios at the start of 2023, intending to infuse a sense of 1970s nostalgia into a contemporary sound. She initially worked with frequent collaborator Solomonophonic, and then brought in horn players to “round out the sauce.” “I wanted to make something where you can’t help but dance and move and feel good while listening,” she explained.
