Reggie Bird shares emotional update two weeks after being rushed to hospital for surgery
Reggie Bird has updated her fans after a knee injury saw her rushed to surgery two weeks ago.
'The surgeon also asked if I had any falls or trauma and I said yes I had an old man on a big mobility scooter mow me down in Woolworths about a year and a half ago… So it’s most likely came from that,' she explained in the caption of a pre-surgery update. The two time Big Brother winner, 50, vlogged her day in the emergency department at Gold Coast Hospital on Instagram, where she had blood tests, X-rays, and an ultrasound on her knee She suffers from both retinitis pigmentosa, a rare degenerative eye disease that causes severe vision impairment, and stage two Usher Syndrome, which causes deafness and hearing loss.
