Reese Witherspoon became a household name thanks to her blockbuster comedy Legally Blonde. Now she says she is proud of the 2001 film because it has inspired fans.

Former Gossip Girl showrunners Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are writing and executive producing one of the offshoots of the spin-off, but details of the plot remain unknown. The original 2001 film, Legally Blonde, starred Reese as Elle Woods, a former sorority girl who enrolls in Harvard Law School to get back together with her ex-boyfriend Legally Blondes, a direct-to-DVD film, chronicled the adventures of Elle's twin cousins who relocate from England to California.
