Former Gossip Girl showrunners Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are writing and executive producing one of the offshoots of the spin-off, but details of the plot remain unknown. The original 2001 film, Legally Blonde, starred Reese as Elle Woods, a former sorority girl who enrolls in Harvard Law School to get back together with her ex-boyfriend Legally Blondes, a direct-to-DVD film, chronicled the adventures of Elle's twin cousins who relocate from England to California.
