Reese Witherspoon Says Actor Friend ‘Doesn’t Talk to Me Anymore’ After Awards Speech Gone Wrong: ‘She Doesn’t Like Me’ and ‘I’m Still Embarrassed’
Reese Witherspoon says an actor friend no longer speaks to her after an awards speech gone wrong.
Reese Witherspoon revealed in a recent interview with People magazine that she burned a bridge with a fellow actor friend after she roasted her at an awards ceremony. Witherspoon made the revelation in an interview alongside Will Ferrell, with whom she stars in the new Amazon Prime Video romantic-comedy “You’re Cordially Invited.” The film, directed by Nicholas Stoller, stars Witherspoon as a sister of the bride who discovers their wedding venue has been double booked. Along with Witherspoon and Ferrell, the cast includes Geraldine Viswanathan, Meredith Hagner, Jimmy Tatro, Stony Blyden, Leanne Morgan, Rory Scovel, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Ramona Young, Jack McBrayer and Celia Weston.
