Reese Witherspoon developing Legally Blonde TV series spinoff - 23 years after starring as Harvard law student Elle Woods
Deadline reports Witherspoon is working on a Legally Blonde spin-off series with the help of her Hello Sunshine production company.
Former Gossip Girl showrunners Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are writing and executive producing one of the offshoots of the spin-off, but details of the plot remain unknown. The original 2001 film, Legally Blonde, starred Reese as Elle Woods, a former sorority girl who enrolls in Harvard Law School to get back together with her ex-boyfriend.
