Hastings reportedly chipped in $7 million to support Harris.
The Information reported that Hastings had given a $7 million donation on the recommendation of another Silicon Valley megadonor, Reid Hoffman. Hastings posted on X/Twitter earlier today, “Congrats to Kamala Harris — now it is time to win.” Since then, she has racked up widespread endorsements among Democratic elected officials and Hollywood activists, including George Clooney.
