Red carpets go green for awards season as Taylor Swift and Eva Longoria spark a colour trend
As awards season kicks off for 2024, OK! deputy style director Zoe looks at the surprising new colour trend that's already becoming the top dress hue choice for red carpets
Taylor seemed to take inspiration from her Eras album for her Golden Globes look, opting to wear a snakey, floor length Gucci gown. Janelle arrived on the Golden Globes red carpet wearing an incredible Monsoori velvet dress, which she paired with statement detachable silk sleeves in a mustard-tinged green – very effective. For the annual Governors Awards at The Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood, Desperate Housewives star Eva seemed to take inspiration from Taylor's metallic green gown from the week before.
