Recording Academy to Stop Giving Complimentary Afterparty Tickets to Grammy Nominees

Grammy nominees are no longer getting complimentary afterparty tickets, the Recording Academy announced in an email to members.

The Recording Academy has let its members know, via email, of some changes, one of which will likely be unwelcome news to many: It will no longer provide complimentary tickets to its official Grammy afterparty to all current year nominees. “With the evolution of the event, we unfortunately will no longer be able to provide complimentary tickets for nominees to the afterparty, nor will we be able to accommodate as many guests as we have in the past,” the academy said in the email. It describes Grammy House as “an immersive, accessible and inclusive space for music makers, culture creators, and industry leaders on the rise.”
