Record Store Day has unveiled its lineup of 350+ vinyl exclusives, from modern stars like Charli XCX, Post Malone and Gracie Abrams to classic rockers.
Brittany Howard “Live From Austin City Limits” [Electric Blue LP] 2,500 copies Recorded on April 29, 2024 at the Moody Theater for ACL’s 50th anniversary, this is the first physical release for the Grammy nominee’s nine-track set. Produced by Sean Ono Lennon and mixed and engineered from the original tapes by Paul Hicks and Sam Gannon, this extremely limited edition EP features four tracks from the afternoon and evening concerts, including three of which are previously unreleased (and the other of which, “Instant Karma,” is newly remixed). Pressed on 180-gram audiophile-grade vinyl at Record Technology Inc. (RTI) and packaged in high-quality glossy tip-on gatefold jackets with brand new liner notes by famed writer Harmony Holiday, Sanders’ 13-member ensemble—including Sonny Sharrock, Lonnie Liston Smith, Cecil McBee, and Leon Thomas—will be heard at the highest quality audio available.
