Reclusive Ellen DeGeneres shares rare glimpse at new life after being forced out of $450 million career
After seemingly cutting one of her final ties in the United States, selling one of her final houses , Ellen DeGeneres is sharing a brief glimpse at her new life in the British countryside.
She has rarely shared a glimpse at herself in recent weeks, populating her social media feed with old clips from her syndicated daily talk show that ended in 2022. Ellen shared an ad she filmed for her Kind Science brand's new skin hydration cream last week, though the last glimpse of herself was back in March, when she was on safari somewhere in Africa. Her Netflix special Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval - which she was paid a whopping $20 million for - was filmed at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis in August 2024 and debuted on the streaming service one month later.
