Rebus and Outlander star Richard Rankin reveals single moment that changed his entire life
Outlander's Richard Rankin, who is currently appearing in the new TV adaptation of Rebus on Saturday nights, has spoken about the one thing that changed his life forever
The Scottish actor found everything changed for him when he accepted the part in 2015 of Roger Wakefield in Outlander, the hugely successful period fantasy drama that also stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe. Richard’s character in Outlander first appeared in the second season, after Claire had travelled back to the 20th century to raise her daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton). There was previously a version of Ian Rankin’s books made for TV more than two decades ago that starred John Hannah and then Ken Stott, making Richard the third actor to take on the role.
