The host, Mythical Chef Josh, recalled one of Lady Gaga's interviews in 2011, in which she praised Black as a "genius," he said. At 13 years old, Black adored Lady Gaga, as well as Katy Perry and Justin Bieber — whom she had cardboard cutouts of in her bedroom, she shared. Not only did she have to reconcile the negative comments, Black said, but she also had to come to terms with the simpler fact that celebrities she looked up to suddenly knew who she was.
