Reba McEntire Comedy ‘Happy’s Place’ Gets Full Season Pick Up at NBC
The NBC comedy series "Happy's Place" has received an order for additional episodes at NBC.
Reba McEntire stars in the series along with fellow cast members Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk and Rex Linn. Per the official logline, “Bobbie (McEntire) inherits her father’s tavern and is surprised to discover that she has a new business partner, Isabella (Escobedo), a twentysomething half-sister she never knew she had.” In addition to an eclectic cast of characters and McEntire’s signature edge woven throughout the comedy, the Tennessee-set sitcom feels like a universal crowdpleaser about family, friendship and generational divisions while paying homage to past TV shows’ rhythmic beats and tone.”
