Reason Prince William and Kate Middleton 'snubbed' BAFTAs after awkward entrance

Prince William will be making a solo appearance at the 2024 BAFTA Awards tonight, as his wife Kate Middleton is still recovering from her recent abdominal surgery

As the couple entered the Royal Festival Hall, the audience rose to their feet in silence after, with the long walk to their seats in the front row appeared to be rather uncomfortable. The Prince and Princess of Wales then made a return to the BAFTAs in 2023, where they had shared a rare moment of PDA, as Kate was caught patting her husband's bum. During another trip in March 2022, while attending a dinner at King's House hosted by the Governor General of Jamaica, the Princess of Wales wrapped her arm around her husband.
