Real-Life 'Saltburn' House Owner Says Fans, Influencers Are Trespassing on Property

The longtime owner of the 700-year-old property featured in the much-talked-about film called fans' interest in taking selfies on the grounds "quite weird"

Charles Stopford Sackville, 63, told the Daily Mail that in the wake of the release of the 2023 psychological thriller starring Jacob Elordi and Barry Keoghan, there has been a deluge of tourists and social media influencers trespassing onto his property to take videos and photos. Just last month, TikTok user Rhian Williams shared two videos filming herself visiting the 700-year-old property, which in reality is called Drayton House, via a public footpath that runs alongside it. Fennell, who also directed the hit 2020 thriller Promising Young Woman, told Town & Country in October 2023that the mansion was the perfect setting for a film that explored class and power.
