Real Housewives Of New Jersey star Dina Manzo's ex-husband asks judge to throw out charges of him hiring a mobster to assault her boyfriend
Dina Manzo's ex-husband, Tommy Manzo, is asking a judge to throw out a racketeering case that accused him of hiring a mobster to beat up Manzo's then-boyfriend David Cantin.
The restaurateur's attorneys, Marc Agnifilo and Zach Intrater, asked a federal judge to dismiss the case, claiming he's been denied a 'speedy trial' as per the New York Post. The case goes back to a 2020 indictment that claims Manzo made a deal with a a soldier in the Lucchese crime family to attack Dina's, 51, boyfriend, 44, in a North Jersey parking lot five years earlier. In exchange for carrying out the attack, prosecutors say Manzo allowed Perna to host a lavish wedding reception at his Brownstone Restaurant (pictured) in Paterson, New Jersey for a fraction of the price
