RAYE won best contemporary song at last year’s Ivors with “Escapism,” which she co-wrote with 070 Shake and Sabath. Tyla ’s “Water,” a former top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and the inaugural Grammy winner for best African music performance, is among the nominees for best contemporary song. “Geronimo Blues”; written by Kwake Bass, Peter Bennie, Biscuit, Raven Bush and Kae Tempest; performed by Speakers Corner Quartet feat.
