Raye loses songwriting books for second album in car theft
Singer, who won a record-breaking number of Brit awards this year, says books were in its boot and the follow-up to My 21st Century Blues will be delayed
She wrote on Instagram: “My car got stolen with all my song writing books in the boot so no second album any time soon love you bye.” It’s a frustrating setback for the singer, born Rachel Keen, who built considerable momentum with her debut album My 21st Century Blues. She co-wrote a song for Beyoncé on her 2024 album Cowboy Carter, and in June she released a new solo single, Genesis, performing it on US television.
