Ray J posted on social media about a 'hurtful' BET Awards experience, after an apparent altercation with Zeus Network CEO Lemuel Plummer.

The singer wrote a lengthy statement on his Instagram story after being involved in a puzzling altercation with Lemuel Plummer, the founder of the streaming service Zeus Network, at a BET Awards afterparty on Sunday. Ray J was filmed in an altercation with Plummer outside a BET Awards afterparty hosted by GloRilla on Sunday night. At one point, Ray J called Plummer the “Black Jeffrey Epstein” and accused him of abusive behavior at Zeus.
